Profiles
The GRP profiles are manufactured using the pultrusion process (from “to pull”). This production method is characterized by a continuous manufacturing process with consistently high quality. The glass fibers are pulled through a guide head and then through a heated tool to reinforce the profiles. Here the fibers are impregnated with the resin mix and cured by heating to the desired geometry.
The profiles are manufactured in a continuous process and are cut to size directly after pultrusion. The standard lengths are 6.000 and 12.000 mm – other lengths are also possible depending on quantities.

Stairs
Treads in GRP require very little maintenance and is a good alternative to more traditional materials. GRP stair treads consist of GRP gratings with black gritted angle nosing or GRP-Treads with flat gritted nosing.
It is common to use a 38 mm tall GRP grating. The angle acts as a reinforcement of the stair tread in traffic areas, and the flat material as a visible edge. We can supply angles of 75x75x8 mm with lateral holes as side plates can be supplied. These are connected to the stair tread with direct fixing material.

Railings
Lichtgitter GRP-Railings are manufactured from glass fiber reinforced GRP profiles. These are characterized by their good chemical resistance. A square tube is used as a post, the knee rail consists of a round tube, the handrail is ergonomically shaped and the toe plate can be made in 100 or 150 mm height. Based on the existing profiles, the railings can be customized.
The railings are delivered completely pre-assembled or in individual parts where the posts are cut and drilled. The knee rails, handrails, and toe plates are supplied in standard lengths for on-site adaptation.
